Homemade Masks
Trinity Health Of New England is grateful to the community for your generous outpouring of support during these unprecedented times. We are accepting donations for homemade surgical-style masks. We thank you for the time and dedication you have given to making these masks.
We are proud to serve our regional and local communities and continue to prepare adequately and in accordance to the CDC recommendations.
Mask-Making Project
We understand some may be inclined to come together in groups to work on mask-making projects, but we strongly urge all individuals to continue to practice social-distancing under the following guidelines: stay home, if you must go out, keep six feet of separation between yourself and other individuals.
Before beginning your mask-making project, please consider the following:
- Have you, or anyone involved directly in your mask-making project, been in contact with anyone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past two weeks?
- Do you, or anyone involved directly in your mask-making project, have fever, cough or shortness of breath?
If you are able to answer “no” to these questions, proceed with your mask-making project. If you answered “yes” to either of the questions, please do not continue with your mask-making project.
Preferred Materials for Your Mask-Making Project:
- 100% unused cotton fabric (front) – no metallic fabrics
- 100% cotton or cotton flannel (back)
- 1/4” or 3/8” flat elastic
