Resident Teaching

Our program proudly hosts medical students from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and St. George’s University School of Medicine, and observers who rotate with us throughout the year. This structure provides residents with abundant opportunities to develop bedside teaching skills, leadership experience, and confidence as future educators.

In addition, our senior residents take on leadership roles in advancing the curriculum, leading projects such as Electronic Medical Record training, the Efficiency Curriculum, and other resident-driven educational initiatives. Importantly, each year, one of our residents and sometimes two have been honored with Teaching Awards from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, highlighting the exceptional educational environment we foster. These experiences prepare our graduates for success in academic medicine, leadership, and beyond.
