Tara Ackerly, APRN has joined Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Breast Surgery.
Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton as a registered nurse, Tara attained a Master of Science degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from Pace University.
Prior to joining the Department of Surgery at Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group, Tara served for several years as an APRN with the Western Connecticut Medical Group in the Department of Breast Surgery. In that role, Tara worked with patients to assess, diagnose and prepare treatment plans. Her compassionate and patient-centered approach to care enables Tara to closely monitor patient response to treatment and adjust as needed.
