Asiya Mahmut, M.D. has joined the Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group at Saint Francis Hospital. She is the Director of the Echocardiography program and the Adult Sonography School at Saint Francis Hospital.
Dr. Mahmut is board-certified in internal medicine, adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, peripheral vascular interpretation, and general cardiology. She earned her medical degree from Xinjiang Medical University in Urumqi, China. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital, Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She then completed her fellowship in Cardiology at Bridgeport Hospital - Yale New Haven Health in Bridgeport, CT.
