About
Paul F. Kelly, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.
A member of Saint Mary’s Medical Staff since 1996, Dr. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in American Government from Georgetown University and received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Rochester – Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.
Dr. Kelly serves as Chairman of the Cardiac Quality Work Group at Saint Mary’s Hospital and has been named a “Champion” by the American Heart Association for his stewardship in the Get With The Guidelines quality improvement program. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he served as a Councilor with the ACC’s Connecticut Chapter.
Active in the community, Dr. Kelly is Director of Malta House of Care – Waterbury, which delivers free primary care services to uninsured patients in Waterbury. He also serves as Chairman of the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
He and his wife, Karen, live in Newtown.
