About
Dr. Nirav Sanghani is a member of the Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in the Department of Neurology/Neuromuscular Medicine, specializing in Neuromuscular and Movement Disorders. The addition of Dr. Sanghani to the Neurology team expands the spectrum of specialty services available to patients suffering from neurological conditions, including electromyography (EMG). Along with his colleagues in the Neurology Department, Dr. Sanghani is welcoming new patients.
Dr. Sanghani received his medical degree from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University in India. He also conducted his Residency in Internal Medicine from the same university. He completed a neurology residency at T N Medical College, Mumbai University, and practiced in India for eight years. Dr. Sanghani then traveled to the U.S. for an Internship and Residency in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Neurology, serving as a chief neurology resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then completed a Fellowship in NeuromuscularMedicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Sanghani has also been conferred the title of the Fellow of European Board of Neurology (FEBN). Dr. Sanghani’s areas of interest include ALS, myasthenia gravis, autoimmune neuropathies and CIDP. Dr. Sanghani's research has been presented at national and international conferences and published in various journals.
