About
Dr. John Testa is board certified in internal medicine. He graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University and received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine/primary care at the University of Connecticut. He is a professor at UCONN School of Medicine and Quinnipiac School of Medicine. Dr. Testa has maintained a primary care practice in Cheshire and has been a member of Saint Mary’s Hospital Medical Staff since 2002. He has also served in the US Army and was medical director for the Waterbury Market for 7 years. He joined Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in 2008. Dr. Testa has a true passion for patient care. His clinical areas of interest include diabetes, metabolic syndrome and preventive health maintenance.
