David M Silver, DO

David Silver D.O. is a primary care physician with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group at the Rocky Hill Ambulatory Access Center

Dr. Silver most recently served as a primary care physician at Hartford Healthcare in Cheshire. Prior to that, he was an urgent care and internal medicine provider at Silver Medical and Rehabilitation Group and served in the same capacity at MultiCare Physicians. Dr. Silver also held a locum tenens position at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital from 2006 – 2008.

Dr. Silver earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Southeastern University of the Health Sciences. He completed an osteopathic internship at Universal Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Dr. Silver is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Why I went into Medicine:

Watching my grandmother suffer from illnesses had a big impact on me growing up. I saw how much comfort and trust a caring doctor could bring to a patient and their family during difficult times. Later, working in a pharmacy as a teenager strengthened my passion for medicine and helping others. These experiences inspired me to pursue family medicine so I can build lasting relationships with patients and care for them through every stage of life.
