David A. Stroh, MD, FACS, FAAOS, serves as the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Stroh specializes in orthopedic trauma and general orthopedic care, as well as arthroplasty, periprosthetic fracture, infection, deformity, and amputations. He is a Fellow at the American College of Surgeons and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma. Dr. Stroh is an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he was named the 2024 Educator of the Year for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

I had a broken tibia and Dr. Stroh took very good care of me. He repaired my leg and also took out my hardware. He is a very good trauma surgeon. He is very professional and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him to fix you up.

The Dr. ,the X-ray person and the office staff were excellent. All of them treated me as if I were their only patient. I was comfortable, and knew that I mattered!

The provider and his MA were wonderful. The front desk with the exception of the person whom checked me in only told me what the could not do. Another provider in the same building told me what they could do and did. This was the same exact situation as it needed to be done across ALL my providers.

Dr. Stroh replaced my shoulder in Feb. and the results are great. He replaced my right knee 3 weeks ago and, even though there is still a lot of pain, I am confident that the eventual outcome will be as good as my shoulder was.
