Dr. Ashmanie Mahatoo is a physician with the Department of Neurology and the Mandell MS Center.
Dr. Mahatoo earned her Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in the Department of Medicine at the University of Connecticut and followed that up with a residency in UConn’s Department of Neurology. She recently completed a fellowship in Neuroimmuniology within the Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Mahatoo, who served as Chief Resident in 2019-20, is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and is a member of Iota Epsilon Alpha International Honor Medical Society.
