About
Dr. Karcutskie is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon that focuses on aesthetic surgery. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Health System, along with a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Miami studying complex coagulation and thrombosis, becoming nationally known in the field. He then completed his fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, ranked as the #1 institution in Plastic Surgery by Doximity. Throughout these years, he also contributed to the US Army Trauma Training Center in Miami, FL, acting as an instructor for mass casualty treatment strategies. He also was a Field of Play Physician at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, caring for many injured athletes during the games.
Dr. Karcutskie has developed a specific interest in aesthetic surgery, with many advanced techniques, including the high SMAS deep plane face lift, micro and nanofat transfer to the face, body contouring after massive weight loss, and ultrasound guided fat transfer to the buttocks.
