Trinity Health Of New England Announces Exciting Partnership with Vituity to Enhance Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine Services
April 10, 2025HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity Health Of New England is proud to announce a new partnership with Vituity, the nation’s largest physician-owned and physician-led medical partnership group, to manage Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine services at our Connecticut hospitals beginning April 7, 2025. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to improving access and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring the long-term sustainability of these essential services.
Vituity brings a proven track record of enhancing patient care, hospital efficiency, and provider support nationwide. This partnership is a strategic investment by Trinity Health Of New England to strengthen the future of emergency and hospital care—not a sale of services. Trinity Health and Vituity have ensured a seamless transition by fully staffing all locations with skilled, compassionate providers while retaining the majority of the physicians who have long served the community.
Across Trinity Health Of New England’s Connecticut hospitals, nearly 180 providers will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under Vituity’s leadership. This includes 147 providers transitioning from Trinity Health Of New England to Vituity (53 hospitalists and 94 emergency medicine providers) and 30+ experienced Vituity providers joining the team, resulting in expanded provider coverage.
