Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation
February 18, 2026HARTFORD, Conn. – CARF International has announced that Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the largest provider of acute inpatient rehabilitation services in Connecticut, has once again been accredited for a period of three years for Brain Injury Specialty, Stroke Specialty, and Adult and Adolescent Rehabilitation Inpatient programs. The latest accreditation is the third Three-Year Accreditation Mount Sinai has received from CARF for Adult and Adolescent Rehabilitation Inpatient and Stroke Specialty Rehabilitation programs, and the second accreditation for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation program.
CARF accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be achieved by a rehabilitation organization and recognizes Mount Sinai’s substantial conformance to CARF standards. In order to receive a Three-Year Accreditation, Mount Sinai completed a rigorous peer review process and on-site review by surveyors that demonstrated a commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.
