SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 23, 2020) – The Brightside Angel Campaign has long been a local holiday tradition, offering gifts with special meaning. All proceeds from the annual campaign directly benefit those served by the programs and services of Brightside for Families and Children. Each year, Brightside serves more than 650 children, their siblings, and their families in their homes and schools with in-home counseling and family support.

Due to COVID-19, the variety of holiday items available through the Brightside Angel Campaign has been reduced. However, the traditional paper Brightside Angels and the Brightside Angel ornaments will be available. The angel ornaments, which sell for $20 each, are available online at https://give.mercycares.com/brightside-angels. The paper Brightside Angels, which can be purchased for a donation amount of your choosing, are available at all Pride Stores. The 2020 Brightside Angel Campaign will conclude on December 24.

“Brightside’s work is at the heart of our Mission – offering in-home counseling, mentoring, family support and services tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family. This year especially we have helped support families during their stressful times adjusting to various COVID-19 challenges,” said Mark Paglia, Executive Director of Behavioral Health. "Thanks to our supporters, Brightside is able to provide services to many children and families in our community.”
