Lisa Roy, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, BCEN, Named Colleague of the Month at Saint Mary’s

Lisa Roy, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, BCEN, Manager of Nursing Practice and Education, is the honoree for November.

Lisa consistently goes above and beyond to support her colleagues and ensure patient care remains seamless, safe, and compassionate. She is known for quickly addressing clinical needs and providing staff with best practice guidance. Lisa dedicates her time equally to both the Emergency Department and inpatient units, demonstrating flexibility and commitment wherever she is needed. In addition, she serves as an expert resource for policy and processes, ensuring compliance and clarity across teams.

Her leadership extends even further as she frequently covers for the Nursing Supervision team, providing stability and guidance during critical times. A colleague shared, “Beyond her clinical excellence, Lisa actively participates in community events and generously gives her time to represent and support our hospital,” ultimately proving that Lisa’s dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment “make her an outstanding candidate for this recognition.”
