On October 1, the 17th Cohort of the Saint Mary's Hospital Graduate Nurse Residency Program gathered in the Auditorium to celebrate completing their 12-month residency journey.

The 17th cohort was honored at the Nurse Residency Program graduation.

This milestone reflects their hard work, perseverance, professional growth, and unwavering commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and exceptional patient care.

Special recognition was given to the recipients of the Perfect Attendance Award: Marissa Velez, RN (OB7), Jennifer Curan, RN (OB7), Haley DaMato, RN (Intermediate Care), and Grace Steenburgh, RN (Intermediate Care).

As the graduates embark on the next chapter of their nursing careers, they were inspired by the words of Shawna Edwards, DNP, Chief Nursing Officer, who said, "As you leave this residency program, remember that graduation is not the end of your journey. It is the beginning of an exciting new chapter."

Congratulations to the October 2025 Cohort on this remarkable achievement and the bright future that lies ahead.
