Ivan Delgado Named Saint Francis Colleague of the Month

Ivan, Transport Attendant for the Cath Lab, was honored as the October Colleague of the Month at Saint Francis.

Ivan was nominated due to his “exceptional direct patient care and dedication to the Cath Lab team. Ivan consistently communicates to patients and family members while transporting them to and from procedures, always ensuring they feel informed, safe, and comfortable throughout the process.”

Ivan's nomination highlighted his attentiveness to his patients, describing a recent incident in which he noticed a significant change in a patient he was transporting. Ivan immediately communicated with the nursing staff, stopping the line and practicing a questioning attitude. It was noted that Ivan’s quick response demonstrates his “remarkable attentiveness, commitment to patient safety, and dedication to his work. His actions reflect the high standard of care we strive for, and his 32 years of service continue to be an example for us all.”
