Silvana Genovese Named Saint Francis Colleague of the Month

Silvana, Department Assistant for Non-Invasive Cardiology, was selected as September's Colleague of the Month for Saint Francis.

Silvana has been with Saint Francis in various roles since 2007 and has held her current role since 2021. In her nomination, Silvana’s manager wrote that she “goes above and beyond the role of department assistant. She is committed to our Core Value of Reverence and is a patient experience advocate in every sense, helping patients navigate their appointments and hospital visits.” Silvana welcomes everyone with a warm greeting and a helpful attitude, always exhibiting compassion, kindness, and professionalism.

One nomination noted that many returning patients will ask for Silvana by name and thank her for her kindness, and “she treats all patients like they are members of her own family. From the most vulnerable to the most privileged, every patient gets her full attention.” Silvana’s manager concluded by saying, “Her 15-year commitment to Saint Francis isn’t just to our facility; it is a commitment to our patients, our community, and a testament to our Mission.”
