Michelle Salmon Named Saint Francis Colleague of the Month

Michelle embodies the organization’s Core Values, with her manager writing that what stands out the most is Integrity, “adhering to strong moral and ethical principles, acting with honesty and sincerity in all situations. She demonstrates this when a patient or family comes to the front desk and are greeted by Michelle with a warm welcome and a big smile.” It was also noted that Michelle flourishes when it comes to helping colleagues through difficult situations. “She is calm and discerns where the frustration is coming from and where she can help. There is an art to this, and Michelle has perfected it.”

As the first face people see when they enter the unit, Michelle takes her role at the front desk seriously, bringing professionalism and calmness to all. “Michelle is respected by all the staff,” her manager wrote, “She treats everyone equally and fairly. Michelle is an invaluable member of the 10-9 team and is very much appreciated for all she does. She is a true example of a valued and loyal member of the Saint Francis Family.”
