Tony DeJesus has been selected as the April 2026 Colleague of the Month at Saint Francis. Tony, Oncology Scheduler, is being recognized for his commitment to patients, colleagues and the Trinity Health Of New England Mission.
Tony, Oncology Scheduler, was named Colleague of the Month at Saint Francis for April.
From the moment Tony joined the team in Oncology, he elevated the patient experience and strengthened the department culture in ways that are impossible to overlook. In his nomination, Tony was described as “a breath of fresh air,” as he arrives every day with a radiant, genuine smile that never fades. Tony’s manager wrote, “That consistency isn’t just pleasant – it reflects a deep respect for every person he encounters. Patients and staff alike feel seen, valued and welcomed in his presence. His positivity sets the tone for the unit and models the kind of compassionate professionalism we strive for.”
Tony takes on his role with enthusiasm and responsibility, rolling through the unit with his WOW, scheduling patients before their treatment is even finished, improving workflow efficiency. His nomination noted, "This is Stewardship in action – using time, resources and talent wisely to improve outcomes for everyone. Our patients absolutely love him. Seeing Tony come around with his WOW, ready to help them before they even ask, has become a major satisfier.
