“It is a privilege to teach the doctors of the future,” said Dr. Kaur. “And it is an honor to have received this award.”

The Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award celebrates clinical faculty at Netter who have excelled in teaching medical students in their required clinical clerkships. Medical students participating in the Critical Care Clerkship at multiple clinical sites and hospitals in Connecticut nominated faculty who went above and beyond to enrich their education.

“These teachers demonstrate their dedication to education and teach in a manner that creates an encouraging, intellectually stimulating environment that promotes critical thinking and learning,” said Lisa Coplit, M.D., Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at the Netter School of Medicine.
