Elizabeth S. Gromisch, PhD, MSCS, Research Neuropsychologist at the Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research was recently awarded a three-year, $600,000 grant from the National MS Society entitled “Integrating Natural Language Processing to Improve Access to Compensatory Cognitive Training in People with Multiple Sclerosis.”
Dr. Gromisch (center) has been recognized internationally for her contributions to MS research.
This grant will further expand upon Dr. Gromisch’s self-management mobile health (mHealth program) called Managing My MS My Way, allowing development of a cognition version of the application along with expanding her team of experts.
This was a highly competitive grant cycle and the selection of Dr. Gromisch’s grant highlights the Mandell MS Center being recognized as an innovative center dedicated to patient-centered solutions. This recognition reflects Dr. Gromisch’s continued dedication to advancing MS research and improving the lives of people living with MS. The Mandell MS Center and Research Department are proud to celebrate this accomplishment and look forward to the impact this work will have on the MS community.
