Lindsay Neto was selected as the January 2026 Colleague of the Month in Hartford. Lindsay, a Research Associate at the Mandell MS Center at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, was recognized for her commitment to colleagues, patients, and the Trinity Health Of New England Mission.
Lindsay, Research Associate at the Mandell MS Center, was named Colleague of the Month for January.
Lindsay has been an integral member of the Mandell MS Center research team for over 12 years and is focused on improving the quality of life for patients with multiple sclerosis. In her nomination, it was noted that Lindsay consistently embodies Trinity Health Of New England’s Core Values, including going above and beyond to make research available to patients of all backgrounds and abilities. This transforms the research that is done at the Mandell MS Center into something that patients will benefit from in their daily lives.
One portion of her nomination stated, “Lindsay exemplifies teamwork and consistently goes out of her way to support her team. If anything is required for a grant submission or a research project, she is the first to step in and act, whether it is to connect people, review documents, or troubleshoot logistics.” She was also recognized as “a valuable resource to other departments by consulting and helping find efficient and successful ways to implement their research.”
Lindsay has taken on new hats and leadership roles over the last few years, with her manager saying, “with Lindsay’s quiet leadership, the research team has been extremely productive for such a small group. In the past year, our team has had 10 ongoing research studies, published 21 manuscripts, had eight conference presentations, four invited symposia and received six research grants.”
To conclude her nomination, Lindsay’s manager wrote, “our organization is lucky to have such a dedicated colleague to the patient experience and to her fellow colleagues. The respect and confidence Lindsay’s colleagues have in her reflect the tremendous impact she has on both coworkers and research participants. She is a person to count on when challenges arise, and her kindness and collaborative leadership bring people together. Lindsay ensures our research truly matters for patients and the community.”
Congratulations, Lindsay!
