Congratulations to Veronica Martin, Respiratory Therapist, for her selection as Mercy Medical Center's Colleague of the Month for October.
Martin began her career at Mercy in 1995 and colleagues have come to depend on her as a team player who “always treats others with respect, empathy, and compassion.” Colleagues also appreciate that Martin routinely seeks out her peers to provide assistance and is willing to come in early or stay late to help with staffing needs. Martin is also recognized for her efforts to educate patients and their families. One colleague wrote in a nomination form, “Veronica is an amazing RT – patients and families all love her. We are fortunate to have her as part of our team.”
