Congratulations to Lynn Elmasian, Special Functions Coordinator in the Food and Nutrition Department, for her selection as Mercy Medical Center's Colleague of the Month for August. The selection for this honor is based on the nominations of fellow colleagues who recognized Lynn for consistently "exceeding expectations, demonstrating excellence in job performance, and delivering exceptional service."
Lynn Elmasian
Lynn joined the Food and Nutrition Department in 1991, and she has served as Special Functions Coordinator for the past six years. According to colleagues, the café is “her main domain” and she takes extreme pride in its overall presentation. Lynn also makes it a point to greet customers with a smile and she knows many of them by their first name. It’s not unusual for colleagues and customers to report back to the department manager that Lynn “is awesome” and that “she has made my day.” And her colleagues appreciate her efforts too. In one nomination form, a colleague wrote, “her positivity, coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude, yields a powerhouse of a team member.”
