Mercy Respiratory Therapy Dept. celebrates its Respiratory Therapists during National Respiratory Care Week

To mark Respiratory Care Week, Mercy Medical Center’s Respiratory Therapy Department held several Respiratory Therapy themed games, educational webinars, and newly established peer-nominated award opportunities. The recognition week, which ran October 22nd - October 28^th, is a nationwide celebration that “provides us with a fantastic opportunity to recognize and appreciate the vital role that our respiratory therapists play in patient care and respiratory health,” said Maria Fontaine, Manager, Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Lab, Mercy Medical Center.
