Congratulations to Jennifer Moody, RRT, Lead Respiratory Therapist, for her selection as Mercy Medical Center's Colleague of the Month for March. The selection for this honor is based on the nominations of fellow colleagues who recognized Jennifer for consistently "exceeding expectations, demonstrating excellence in job performance, and delivering exceptional service."
A valuable member of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Mercy for the past 12 years, Jennifer has developed a reputation as a “safety champion” who consistently takes the necessary steps to keep patients and colleagues safe by not hesitating to raise safety concerns, reaching out to the appropriate resources, and being diligent about reporting in Midas to raise awareness of any issues. Colleagues describe Jennifer as a team player who is “always willing to jump in and help whenever anyone needs it.” For example, Jennifer was recently selected by her peers to receive the department’s “Superhero Award” which is given to the person “most likely to handle a crisis situation with ease, swooping in to save the day.” Jennifer is also credited with helping to set up events for Respiratory Care Week to make sure colleagues are recognized for their efforts.
