Trinity Health Of New England’s Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Centers for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research, a leading provider of care for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, was officially recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Partners in MS Care program. This formal recognition honors the Mandell MS Center’s commitment to high-quality MS care.
“We are so proud to once again be recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care,” said Mary Bailey, M.D., Regional Medical Director, Rehabilitation and Multiple Sclerosis, Trinity Health Of New England. “The ideal setting for MS care is at a center, like the Mandell MS Center, with dedicated specialists who have access to the most up to date treatments and ways to manage symptoms. We care for our patients at every stage, from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and symptom management. Our providers work to develop individualized solutions for patients living with MS.”
The Center for Comprehensive MS Care distinction is appointed by a local and national committee, and organizations recognized must demonstrate a coordinated, multi-disciplinary care model for MS. Clinicians at the Mandell MS Centers continually demonstrate a wealth of knowledge, experience, and the important attention to detail necessary in treating people with MS.
