Chelsea Barnett, First Cook in Food and Nutrition Services, has been selected as Johnson Memorial Hospital's Colleague of the Month for January. The selection for this honor is based on the nominations of fellow colleagues who recognized Chelsea for consistently "exceeding expectations, demonstrating excellence in job performance, and delivering exceptional service."
A member of the Johnson team for the past three years, Chelsea is described as “quiet but mighty” for the initiative she demonstrates to ensure that our patients are taken care of, and her colleagues have what they need to do their jobs. As she is always willing to take on additional duties to make sure her department is running smoothly, colleagues are grateful for Chelsea’s efforts, particularly when staffing is challenging. One colleague wrote, “whether she’s cooking, receiving and putting away inventory, taking care of floor stocks, verifying patient diets, or taking on an additional assignment, she does it all without hesitation.”
