Hector Matos Named Mercy’s Newest Colleague of the Month

Since Hector joined the FANS team at Mercy two years ago, colleagues have come to appreciate his leadership and willingness to help whenever and however he is needed. In one nomination, a colleague noted that Hector didn’t hesitate when asked to assist with covering the department receiver position or take on responsibilities with inventory control. Colleagues say Hector “comes from a place of yes” and they appreciate his efforts to improve patient satisfaction, colleague engagement and our culture of safety. As one colleague wrote, “his positivity coupled with a can-do attitude, no matter what the request may be, is infectious! I'm thrilled to have Hector as a team member.”
