Mercy’s Nicole Taylor to be Honored as “40 Under Forty” Award Recipient

Since joining the Mercy team in 2021, Nicole has been instrumental in shaping the marketing strategy for both Mercy Medical Center and Trinity Health Of New England, particularly in the Women’s Health and Cardiovascular service lines. In fact, Nicole's strategic marketing efforts contributed to over 8,000 new patient leads, 5.5 million website visits, and 1.8 billion earned media impressions in fiscal year 2024. The “Grow It Girl" Potting Party is one example of her efforts. This event connected women – including expectant mothers – with health care providers in the Family Life Center. Through a hands-on succulent-making workshop, participants were able to foster relationships, ask important health-related questions, and engage in conversations about wellness.

Additionally, as a member and the Marketing Manager of the Lambda Beta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. at American International College, Nicole has played a pivotal role in leading initiatives that advocate for marginalized communities, promote public health education, and strengthen community partnerships. For example, Nicole has forged a partnership between Mercy and the sorority to promote Black Maternal Mental Health Week. Recognizing the disparities in maternal health care for Black women, Nicole worked closely with Mercy’s Family Life Center, DEI Council, and Brightside for Families and Children to launch a transformative, week-long advocacy and education initiative in 2024.

Nicole will join other members of the Class of 2025 on Thursday, June 19, at the annual "40 Under Forty" Gala at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
