Emily Brown, RN, Named Mercy’s Latest Colleague of the Month

Emily Brown, RN, Mercy's Colleague of the Month. 

Since joining the Mercy team, Emily has developed a reputation as a hard worker who demonstrates professionalism and leadership. In one nomination form, a colleague noted that Emily played a key role in helping to roll out the My Chart initiative by finding every available tablet and connecting patients to it. Additionally, colleagues appreciate Emily’s willingness to stay late so she can help admit patients at change of shift so that the next shift has an easier and less stressful start to their workday. Emily is also credited with working to find innovative ways to help with throughput and flow on the unit. As one colleague wrote, “no matter what the challenge, she can get the job done.”
