Your Stories: Celebratory Cake and Well Wishes for Johnson Retirees

Five members of the medical staff at Johnson Memorial Hospital have either already retired in 2024 or will retire by the end of the year. With their combined years of service of more than 111 years, the providers were honored at the Annual Medical Staff Meeting in October.
Rizwan Ishtiaq, M.D., Vice President of the Johnson Medical Staff; Adam Gallucci, M.D.; Tommie Mathieu, CRNA; Robert Dudek, M.D.; James Brakoniecki, M.D.; and Roy Kellerman, Jr., M.D., President of the Johnson Medical Staff. Dr. Prince was unable to attend the meeting.
The honorees are Robert Dudek, M.D., and Renee Prince, M.D., who have both retired from the Department of Surgery, Orthopedics section; Adam Gallucci, M.D., and Tommie Mathieu, CRNA, who have both retired from the Department of Anesthesiology; and James Brakoniecki, M.D., who is retiring in December.
Dr. Dudek has retired with more than 13 years of service, Dr. Prince was on the Johnson staff for more than 34 years, Dr. Gallucci retired after more than 16 years at Johnson, and Tommie Mathieu was on the Johnson staff for more than 24 years. When Dr. Brakoniecki retires in December, he will complete a career at Johnson that spanned more than 24 years.
