Melquist Named Johnson’s Latest Colleague of the Month

Jason is not only known for providing safe, high-quality care, colleagues also appreciate his ability to handle pressure. In one nomination form, a colleague referenced his efforts during a recent code. “The arrival of the code team is always a moment of high stress, but Jason had a calming, empowering presence. He created a true collaboration of teamwork as we worked to provide the best care for the patient,” the colleague wrote. Jason is also credited with showing kindness and respect in his daily dealings with patients and colleagues alike, demonstrating conduct that is a “powerful reminder that true excellence in nursing combines profound skill with genuine respect” for others.
