“This review is an important validation of the quality of care we provide to our patients and community, and the surveyors had high praise for the work being done across Johnson,” said Lindsey Gamble, MSN, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Operations/Chief Nursing Officer, Johnson Memorial Hospital.
During the survey, the Joint Commission team highlighted several strengths of the Johnson stroke program, including strong physician and administrative leadership, excellent community outreach efforts and outstanding collaboration with EMS partners.
“This assessment reflects the dedication and teamwork that make our stroke program successful and position us to continue providing high-quality care for our patients,” said Gamble. “A special thank you to all departments and team members who participated in education, preparation activities, tracer discussions, and survey-day support as their engagement and commitment were evident throughout the process.”
