Laurie Cervone, RN, Johnson's Colleague of the Month. 

A colleague since 2022, Laurie is a vital member of the team in the Johnson operating room. According to colleagues, she “treats every patient with deep reverence, showing compassion, dignity, and respect regardless of their background or circumstances…and her kindness and patience especially shine when caring for those who are vulnerable or anxious.”

Laurie is also a strong advocate for safety. In one nomination form, a colleague wrote that she is “always double-checking processes, anticipating needs, and speaking up to ensure the safest possible environment for patients and staff. Her attention to detail and calm presence under pressure make her a trusted teammate in critical moments.” Colleagues describe Laurie as not only “honest and reliable,” but they say she also demonstrates integrity, professionalism and a work ethic that sets a high standard for our team.”
