Saint Francis Announces Colleague of the Month Winner

Karl Williams, Lead Cook, has been named the Saint Francis Colleague of the Month for October.

Karl Williams has been selected as the October 2023 Colleague of the Month at Saint Francis. Karl, Lead Cook for Food and Nutrition, is being recognized for his commitment to his colleagues, his team, and the Trinity Health Of New England Mission.

Karl’s nominating manager noted that he is the first colleague to arrive on a daily basis in order to ensure that the day is set up for success. “Karl uplifts everyone’s morale. He pushes the boundaries and lifts everyone during both the good and difficult times.”

It was also stated on Karl’s nomination that he is “dedicated, hard-working, and tenacious at the same time. He stays on top of his peers as well as his leaders to ensure that the department puts out a quality product.” Karl’s manager also recognized him for being instrumental in making sure the kitchen is a safe place for both our colleagues and patients, and concluded by saying “he is an irreplaceable asset to our team.”
