Your Stories: Saint Francis Endoscopy Nurses Recognized by National Organization

The ABCGN recognized the Saint Francis Endoscopy nursing staff with the Excellence in Professionalism Distinction Award.

The Saint Francis Endoscopy nursing staff received the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses (ABCGN) Excellence in Professionalism Distinction Award, which “recognizes nurses who have demonstrated commitment to excellence by validation of qualifications through certification.”

Saint Francis has an active group of engaged team members that provide and participate in staff development for specialty-specific education and training. In addition to unit-wide involvement with the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), the team has active members at both the state and national level.

“It is an honor and a pleasure to work with this team of dedicated professionals,” said Lauri Santy, BS, MSN, RN, Endoscopy Nurse Manager, who submitted the story.
