Michelle Mariani, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and long standing partner at Waterbury Orthopaedic Associates, where she has practiced since 2008. She specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic repairs of sports injuries, with expertise in shoulder, knee, elbow and ankle injuries.

Dr. Mariani received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Medical College before completing an orthopedic residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center and a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Mariani has extensive experience providing team physician coverage for high school, collegiate and professional athletic programs.
