Residents in the Internal Medicine and Surgical Residency programs at Saint Mary's fared well at Annual Greater Waterbury Research Day event. 

The 24th Annual Greater Waterbury Research Day was held on Friday, May 10, at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Each year the Departments of Medicine and Surgery from Saint Mary's Hospital and Waterbury Hospital meet to share the results of their local research and quality improvement projects that focus on improving healthcare quality and delivery in our community. Internal Medicine and Surgery residents from Saint Mary's Hospital took home six out of nine prizes. Congratulations to the winners!
