Your Stories: Saint Francis OBGYN Residents Celebrate Graduation

On June 13, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Francis celebrated the graduation of five OBGYN residents. The group did not have a medical school graduation in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the celebration was especially significant.

The graduating residents were Joey DiZoglio, M.D., Ashley Garcia, M.D., Rajeshwari Kalyanaraman, M.D., Paola Comas Vargas, M.D., and Allison Wang, M.D., Ph.D.

Karianne Silverman, M.D., Department Chair; Brian Riley, D.O., Program Director; and Staci Gallagher, Program Coordinator, collaborated to recognize the accomplishments of the residents, who will now move on to OBGYN practices in Connecticut, Boston, Florida, and Wisconsin. Dr. Wang will begin her professional practice here at Saint Francis.
