Trinity Health Of New England Expands Cardiology Services in Bloomfield

Along with expanded cardiology services, the Bloomfield Access Center offers primary care, general surgery, laboratory services, medical infusion, nuclear medicine, sports medicine, urology, and vascular care.

These services include cardiac stress testing, ultrasound and nuclear imaging, EKG’s, echocardiogram and vascular duplex studies. The expansion also features additional exam rooms to more comfortably accommodate patients.

Cardiology services at the Bloomfield Access Center are provided by a multidisciplinary team including general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists and advanced heart failure providers. Providing these services are interventional cardiologist Tarek Helmy, MD; general cardiologists Steven Cohen, MD; Gladys Kagaoan, MD; Peter White, MD; Murthappa Prakash, MD; Orlando Carter, APRN, DNP; and Madhumita Saha, MD; electrophysiologists Neal Lippman, MD; Ankit Mahajan, MD; Ricardo Avendano, MD; and Amy Dumais, APRN; and advanced heart failure specialist Shannon Marsh, PA-C.
