Trinity Health Of New England is pleased to announce the addition of Momina Afrede, DO, as a primary care provider. She is welcoming new patients in Rocky Hill.
Dr. Afrede is welcoming new patients in Rocky Hill.
Dr. Afrede specializes in general medicine and preventive care. She is experienced in providing comprehensive care, including annual exams, sick visits, assessments and the management of both acute and chronic conditions. She develops patient-centered care plans with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
Dr. Afrede has significant clinical and research experience in type 1 diabetes, including work at UConn’s Honors Program exploring oral alternatives to injectable insulin, which led to the publication of a book based on her research.
She also performs procedures such as Pap smears, incision and drainage of abscesses, and suture removal.
