Hartford Athletic Hosts Community Health Night at Trinity Health Stadium

Hartford Athletic hosted Community Health Night at Trinity Health Stadium on Friday, June 6. Trinity Health Of New England colleagues and providers representing various service lines and departments set up interactive stations to talk with members of the community and fans attending the game, including team members from Breast Surgery, Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, the Family Advocacy Center, Heart Failure, the Lung Cancer Screening Program, Neurology/Stroke, Nutrition, Physiatry, Primary Care, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, and Trauma/Injury Prevention. In addition, community partners from Donate Life were on hand.
Colleagues from several service lines represented Trinity Health Of New England at Community Health Night, hosted by Hartford Athletic.
The service lines offered various giveaways, provided education on services, information on how to schedule appointments, and other activities. Some of those included BE FAST education from the stroke team, a health care trivia wheel from the rehabilitation team, and Let’s Not Meet By Accident activities from the trauma department.
Each table had a QR code for fans to scan to participate in a scavenger hunt during the game offering an additional opportunity to engage in health education and enter the chance to win prizes. Attendees who scanned the codes at four or more tables were entered to win a soccer ball autographed by all Athletic team members. Other prizes included Trinity Health Of New England goodies, concession stand items, and more.
