Your Stories: Trinity Health Of New England Holds Health and Wellness Fair in Bloomfield
May 12, 2026Categories: Events
Trinity Health Of New England colleagues recently spent the day at Duncaster, a senior living community in Bloomfield, for a health and wellness fair for the community’s employees. Duncaster is a Life Plan community offering independent living, assisted living, short term and skilled nursing and memory care services.
Dr. Jerome Joseph (L) and Patty O'Keefe (R) represented Trinity Health Of New England at a wellness event at the Duncaster senior living community in Bloomfield.
The event welcomed 75-100 engaged Duncaster employees and focused on health, wellness and preventive care. The atmosphere was energetic and interactive, with a variety of activities offered throughout the day, including a live-action reaction time state that encouraged hands on participation and conversation around overall health and wellness.
Representing Trinity Health Of New England were Jake Diogostine, Regional Coordinator, Community Health and Well-Being; Patty O’Keefe, Physician Engagement and Outreach; Ariana Masi-Karpuc, Regional Manager, Ambulatory Pharmacy and Zuhaib Khan, Pharmacy Business Analyst, from Saint FrancisRx; and Jerome Joseph, DO, Primary Care, West Hartford Family Medicine. Together, the team shared information about available services, resources and care options across the Trinity Health Of New England system.
What stood out most were the meaningful, one-on-one conversations with Duncaster staff. Employees asked thoughtful questions about primary care access, medications and navigating health care. Having Dr. Joseph on site allowed attendees to truly experience what it means to meet patients where they are – answering questions in real time, addressing concerns and building trust through approachable, compassionate dialogue.
The event reflected Trinity Health Of New England’s ongoing commitment to community and employer-based outreach, bringing health care closer to where people live and work. By showing up, listening and engaging directly with employees around the region, Trinity Health Of New England continues to remove barriers to care and reinforce what sets our organization apart – delivering accessible, trusted care that meets the unique needs of the communities we serve.
