Saint Mary's is excited to welcome back its Colleague Care Cart with new and improved offerings. During the pandemic, strolling through units with colleague care/hospitality carts became a common practice for many hospitals. In most cases, these carts were filled with food, beverages, and necessities to hopefully sustain frontline workers amidst the chaos of COVID. Though the crisis of the pandemic has faded in many ways, colleagues still need support.

Walking around with the Colleague Care Cart, we can offer real-time support to colleagues and share a variety of well-being resources which are available to all colleagues at Trinity Health. While it is simple, it is powerful. Rounding intentionally with colleagues and sharing information about our Serenity Suite, moral distress and mindfulness in the workplace, for example, can open up meaningful conversations which lead to new learnings about what our colleagues need today. We now supply prayer cards, crosses, printed materials, referral cards, and several other items to build community and deepen relationships. We are grateful to the donors who have helped to make this possible and we look forward to building out our offerings!
