Saint Mary’s Hospital held its annual Celebration of Lights event on November 29. The tradition dates back many years and is an opportunity for colleagues and residents to gather in community to mark the start of the holiday season.
The evening began in the chapel with a welcome reflection from Mission Leader, Stephanie Boccuzzi, MDiv., followed by a Reading from the Gospel of Luke by Amy Mickolite, MA, BCC, Manager of Spiritual Care. A poignant moment during the program was an incredible rendition of “Oh Holy Night” sung by ICU colleague Katie Weiser, RN who was accompanied by John Mauceri, RN, on acoustic guitar.
The Celebration of Lights culminated with lighting of the trees and a musical light show on the hospital façade.
