Your Stories: Saint Mary’s Hospital Colleague Basketball is Back!
December 2, 2025Categories: Colleague Corner
Prepare to get your head in the game! Every Wednesday night, Saint Mary’s Hospital colleagues gather for a friendly game of pick-up basketball. All colleagues are welcome to join from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Yeshiva K'tana of Waterbury, South Elm Campus, located across from the employee parking garage. This opportunity is free and offers a way to stay active and connected outside of work.
Saint Mary's colleagues enjoy a friendly game of basketball every Wednesday.
Whether you’re a regular player or just curious to join in, there’s a spot for you. You might even find yourself sharing the court with familiar faces like Hus “Honey Badger” Kermalli, Paul “Pump Fake” Gladding, and Travis “My Back Hurts” Raboin.
Basketball has long been a way for Saint Mary’s to foster teamwork beyond the workplace. Earlier this year, that spirit was on full display during the Hoop to Help tournament, co-founded by Paul Gladding, Manager, Supply Chain, Waterbury Market, Trinity Health Of New England. The event, now in its 10th year, raised funds to provide 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for local children.
If you’re looking for a midweek break that combines fitness, camaraderie and fun, consider joining the Wednesday games. For more information, please reach out to Travis Raboin, Manager Clinical Engineering, Saint Mary’s.
