This year, Saint Mary’s participated in the United Way’s “Make Someone’s Moment” campaign. Through a variety of initiatives, from selling Fascia’s chocolate, participating in “Denim with a Purpose” or supporting the United Way’s Stock the Pantry, Saint Mary’s continued its long-time commitment to the community.
The celebration also acknowledged the role of corporate sponsors whose generosity helps underwrite United Way events and year-round communications. Saint Mary’s was a sponsor as well as a contributor in helping support the United Way’s community investment in more than 50 programs and initiatives focused on Education, Financial Stability and Basic Needs.
“When communities come together to lift up those in need, the difference is truly powerful,” said Husnain Kermalli, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Saint Mary’s. “Supporting people experiencing poverty is a Core Value and central to who we are. Partnering with the United Way is what compassionate care looks like.”
This annual event honored individuals and organizations whose actions truly “Make Someone’s Moment,” highlighting the importance of working together to help impact the community.
