The Joan C. Dauber Food Pantry at Saint Francis Hospital held its annual Turkey Giveaway and Coat Drive on Saturday, November 23. The day was an incredible display of generosity, with the largest distribution of turkeys and chickens to date, with 800 birds donated for distribution. A record number of volunteers also stepped up to help, representing both the hospital and local community.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to departments of Saint Francis who supported the efforts by organizing food drives that played a crucial role in meeting the needs of the community, including Pulmonary and Critical Care, Labor and Delivery, the Dental Clinic, and the Cancer Center. Gratitude is also extended to Connecticut Foodshare, DATTCO, Hemmingway Trucking, and Midwest Food Bank for their invaluable partnerships.

Thank you to all of the colleagues who donated coats and food through Volunteer Services. Our families in Hartford County appreciate your support and generosity.
